Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American political advisor, served as the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021-2022. As a member of the Democratic Party, she previously worked in the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011) and the spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013-2015) and as the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was a CNN political commentator from 2017 to 2020. Psaki began her career with the 2001 re-election campaign in Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack Both Democrats running for U.S. Senate. Psaki was later appointed deputy press secretary for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was the director of communications to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and as the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned in 2012 for the field of political communications serving as the press secretary of President Obama’s 2012 election campaign. 20 February 13th, 2013, Psaki became spokesperson for the United States Department of State. There was speculation Psaki would succeed Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary at the Department of State.[21] But Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014. She returned to White House as Communications Director in the year 2015 and was in place until the end.
